ABOUT GRETCHEN GATAN

Gretchen Gatan Fragada is a writer, editor, content creator, host, and model with over a decade of experience in the fashion, beauty, and lifestyle industries. Her professional background spans digital marketing, retail, and media publishing.

She is the founder and editor-in-chief of The Metro Edit, an online fashion, beauty, and lifestyle magazine launched in 2021, and the creator behind Greta’s Junkyard, a lifestyle blog she started in 2013. Gretchen also conducts workshops in SEO writing, content marketing, and basic makeup.

Gretchen studied at Poveda from Kindergarten through High School before earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Ateneo de Manila. She later pursued Fashion Makeup at the Fashion Institute of the Philippines and completed a Marketing Diploma program at the Ateneo Graduate School of Business.

Outside of work, Gretchen is a competitive athlete and an avid Harry Potter and WWE fan. She loves traveling and spending quality time with her husband, Cayo, their daughter, Cambria, and their beloved pets, Booboo and Bellatrix.
